Update

So I've been bad about updating. Sorry about that. Since I last posted, my brother Stephen and my sister April have joined the blogspot company. Now we can all keep up to date with each other through blogging and with JD as well. Getting Donnie and Julie and Rachel to join, well, I guess I'm not counting on it, but that would round out the circle of cousins in the Dittes clan.

My favorite speaker Dennis Priebe from Amazing Facts was in town at Advent HOPE this past Sabbath. His two best sermons were on Friday night and Sabbath morning. The Sabbath morning sermon "Sin Shall Not Have Dominion Over You" was especially good and can be listened to at www.audioverse.org. He presented the defense of Charles Fitch, who was disfellowshipped from a Protestant church for believing in the "important and dangerous error" of perfection, as deemed by this Protestant church board of New Jersey at that time. It's a very compelling message with the Bible verses Charles Fitch used as his defense, and one I would recommend all of you taking the time to listen to.

The previous Sabbath, we had two GC VPs speak at Advent HOPE: Ted Wilson and Mark Finley. I hope one of them will become the next president and energize the presidency of the GC.

As far as residency, life is busy but I'm learning a lot, so that's good. 2.5 more months till the third year of residency begins.

And a happy birthday to my brother Stephen. Always 3 months and one day before mine on July 19. These birthdays just keep coming around faster every year.
